chock

The ship mooring chock is of the deck-mounted type, and the manufacturing method must comply with the requirements of the GOST25056 standard. It is a type of ship mooring and towing accessory installed on board to secure mooring and towing lines, and is widely used in Russia. It is similar to the Type B DIN81915 Panama chock, but with a higher SWL. For this reason, this mooring chock is even more commonly applied on Russian ships and vessels. It is one of the most common anchor chocks in Russia. According to requirements, the yield strength and tensile strength of the GOST25056 chock material must exceed 216 MPa and 412 MPa respectively. In China, the material used is always cast steel (ZG230-450), which must be heat-treated by normalisation. For outdoor storage of the chocks, they must be coated with a primer layer. Fairlead

Fairleads are designed to handle a single line. They can be welded into the bulwark or directly onto the deck. All fairleads consist of rollers with a bronze-steel bearing and grease lubrication. In addition to the standard versions, custom-made fairleads can also be designed. On request and in consultation, fairleads can be designed with various dimensions, bearings or weights, and types that comply with OCIMF regulations.

Deck roller
Warping roller

The standard THR chain rollers are supplied with a polyamide bronze bearing in accordance with DIN 81906. In addition, the chain rollers can be supplied on a socket (DIN 81907) with optional heights. Besides the standard cylindrical housing, other options such as square, conical or custom-made housings are also available. The rollers on a sleeve can be equipped with a component that prevents mooring lines from falling when tension on the line slackens.

Acera

This intricate single-yarn coating process demonstrates Acera™’s uncompromising commitment to quality standards. Single-yarn coating has been proven to significantly improve both internal and external wear resistance, and to extend service life and strength. 12-strand ropes are considered the best rope construction and are the most common construction for HMPE ropes. Acera™ Amundsen is the alternative to cumbersome steel wires. It is stronger and safer, with significantly less snap-back/recoil. Its corresponding weight is 7 times lower. When used as a replacement for conventional fibre ropes, the reduction in diameter leads to significant savings in weight (60%), space and handling. This reduces the total time required for mooring operations and fuel consumption.

Polyrop

This PP/PE melt blend has a higher breaking load and excellent wear resistance compared to standard polypropylene.

Our Endurance Rope is lighter in weight than, for example, Tipto Twelve. Magnaro Endurance floats and does not absorb water. Thanks to these properties, it is easier to handle and has a longer service life. This makes the Magnaro Endurance an economically sound choice.

The 12-strand braided construction makes the rope rounder, more stable and more uniform on the surface.

Green Pin Shackle

The Green Pin® Bow Shackle SC is a bow shackle with a screw collar pin. The screw pin allows for quick (dis)assembly, making the shackle ideal for rigging activities where assembly and disassembly occur relatively often.

The Green Pin® Bow Shackle SC can be used for both single-leg and multi-leg systems. The galvanisation of the shackle ensures long-term durability. The design of the shackle reduces wear on (steel) wire ropes because the thread is concealed within a chamber.

The Green Pin® Bow Shackle SC is particularly important for offshore use and meets a wide range of certifications from classification societies such as DNV GL. The shackle is available in a range with a working load limit of 0.33 to 55 tonnes.
